SENIOR ACTIVITIES |

CRRC sponsors a number of activities for those members of Canyon Lake area who are considered "Senior". Most of these activities are hosted at the Recreation Center, but the silver haired folks are also found at the Activity Building, the Thrift Store and the Main Office. Those folks at the Thrift Store and at the Main Office are part of our valuable volunteer staff. Here are some of the current activities. |

SilverSneakers I program is held at the Recreation Center every Tuesday and Thursday at 10:30 am. SilverSneakers II program is held at the Recreation Center every Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 8:30 am. . You can have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living sills. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support. These classes are good for beginners and advanced exercisers. CRRC Recreation Center has agreed to hold this exercise program for Secure Horizon's insured members, free of charge. All residents of Canyon Lake are welcome, also, regardless of age, for a "suggested donation" of $2 per class. Register before class. It's easy to get started! Wear comfortable clothes and bring water. Get Fit, Have Fun, Make Friends!
